More about this product
If your nails are thick or very curved and you have trouble using a clipper, the Nail Nipper will be a good choice. The pliers-style design provides the strength to cut through thick nails and the curved head allows for large or small precision cuts.
- 1. Wash your hands in warm, soapy water or use after a shower or bath. Clean, softened nails are the goal.
- 2. Starting at one edge of your nail and finishing at the other end, carefully cut to the length and shape you’d like.
It’s best to keep your nippers in a dry environment. If they get wet, dry them with a clean towel. You can also keep the cutting edges clean by wiping them with a towel after use. Swabbing the blades with rubbing alcohol and allowing them to air dry (while open) can help to keep them bacteria-free. If the tension begins to feel less smooth after a time, open the nippers wide and place a drop of oil in the joint. Work the oil in by gently closing and opening the handles. Then wipe any excess from the surface of the nippers with a cloth.
