Nail Files, Buffers and Brushes
Our nails get a lot of wear and tear, so it's no wonder that they chip, split, snag and trap all kinds of dirt and debris. While we can't prevent these things from happening entirely, we can minimize some of them and repair the damage after it happens.
Filing our nails not only makes them smoother to the touch and less likely to snag on clothing or other fabric, it also helps to seal the free edges of the nails, making them more able to withstand impact without splitting or chipping.
But even smooth nails can harbor germs that can get into our systems either through ingestion or scratching our skin. That's why it's so important for us to wash our hands frequently and to keep the area under our nails clean with a high quality nail brush.
